Small businesses constitute an essential element of the U.S. economy. Approximately 30 million small businesses operate in the United States, making up the vast majority of employer firms in the country. Collectively, these small businesses employ nearly 80 million workers or approximately half of all private sector employees. This course is designed to review and clarify the diverse business structures and the benefit plans available to each.

If you are looking for an easy way to get CE credit, I recommend that you do not take this course. This course requires you to spend up to the amount of credit hours listed by your state of reading and reviewing self-study course material prior to attending an in-depth 1.5-hour training course, and then take an electronic exam with 50 questions and receive a passing grade of 70% or higher, in order to receive the CE credit. (The following states require a 100 question exam: FL, IN, MS & OH. You will receive 10 credits of CIMA/CPWA/RMA.)

1 State Insurance/CFP®/CIMA®/CPWA®/RMA® CE Credits

Prerequisite Attendee must:

  • Download the Self Study course material
  • State Insurance - Read and review the Self Study course material prior to the examination date
  • CFP - Complete a minimum of 10 Self Study hours of the course material prior to the examination date
  • CIMA/CPWA/RMA - Complete a minimum of 5 Self Study hours of the course material prior to the examination date.
  • Earn a passing grade of 70% or higher on the administered examination
    CFP: 10 credit hours CIMA/CPWA/RMA: 5 credit hours

Credits approved are based upon the number of hours required to read and review the Self Study course material prior to the registered examination date.

Broker Educational Sales & Training, Inc. is a CFP Board Registered CE Sponsor. This Self Study course has been accepted by the CFP Board for 10 credits. Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM, CFP®, and CFP® in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.


2 Electronic Exam

Attendees will be given a link to the exam and an invite code to be able to take the electronic exam online. The exam will be graded instantaneously and Pass/Fail will be displayed immediately upon completion. Attendees will have access to unlimited retakes.

Exam will be accessible from the date of the webinar until 14 days after the end of the webinar.
